Hernia?

I've had two hernia repairs and for both the surgery wasn't immediate. I agree with Michelle on what she was saying as far as the urgency goes...although if you can get it repaired I say why not?

Isn't it fun pushing those things back in? Or is it just me?

Edit: One more thing, you could possibly use this as an opportunity to get a new and smaller vest (if you don't already own it). The argument of lifting the old vest and getting hernias was what we presented to the insurance company. It worked!

Good call about a new Vest, Ronnie!

Please keep in mind that smaller vests can have different waveforms - and the studies have shown that the biggest vest on the market (HillRom 103) and the Respirtech have the best waveforms.

I had the HillRom 104 which was GREAT for smaller size - but it turns out the waveform isn't as effective as it's ancestor.

Hi everyone! Thanks for your replies on this one,I have been offline for ages getting a phoneline installed in my new apartment (for some reason this was extremely difficult...).

I am probably going to leave it (the hernia) be at the moment because less surgery is probably the best option if it's not 100% necessary.

Ronnie - fun pushing it in LOL! so true!

Wish I could use this to get a new vest, but I don't have one at all, in Australia we arn't so lucky! One day I will save the 15 grand and buy one for myself
