i didn't read the other posts, i'll read later, i don't have time right now but i thought i'd add my two cents worth.
I don't hink it would hurt to set it out for just a couple of minutes to warm up before using it, i wouldn't put it in the microwave though, the microwaves might hurt it, a microwave is more than just heat. i don't know if it has that much effect though

I know pulmozyme is ok at room temp for like 24 hours as long as it doesn't get cloudy so you can leave that out to warm up. I don't know about tobi. I use the eflow tobra stuff. They assume you know how to use it and don't include info every delivery.

I used 7% HTS without any problem for years, but now that my FEV1 is lower I get a lot of chest tightness if I use it alone. I mix my xopenex with the hts instead of with .9% and that's made the tightness go away, plus it saves time.

Andee, I find certain restrictions on my airways too, when devouring anything cold. I used to love an ice-cold beer on a hot day, but the spontaneous coughing fits and the leg-crossing have changed my habits. Having a glass or two of red wine [served at room temp] allows me more confidence when I'm out and about

Kat, Like you, I mix my H/S, and store the remaining solution in a syringe in the fridge. 10mls of sodium chloride, plus 3, 10mls of water for injection makes enough for 4days. I use the 6% when I'm feeling good, I seem to tolerate this strength easier, but when 'things' turn to custard I increase to the 7%, I know it doesn't sound like a a big increase in concentration, but it does aid more sputum clearance for me. I have got into the habit of taking the syringe out of the fridge morning and night times, prior to meals, it's not too chilled when I come to use it.

Carmick,

I don't think your statement about Pulmozyme is correct. I spoke to the company that makes it. Once Pulmozyme reaches a certain temperature it's toast. Room temp for a day? I don't think so. I guess it depends on your definition of room temp. I recommend you call the company to confirm your theory.
