Here's my 2 cents, I get that all the time, you look good thing. Depending on the day, and how i feel, i either say Thank you or it gives me a chance to let them know a little about what a C/Fer goes through on a daily basis (Well they asked didn't they, lol).

My husband has a good one. He always says "yeah she looks great on the outside but is a mess/falling apart on the inside".

What really pisses me off more than being asked that is when ppl say to me " You are so lucky that you don't have to WORK anymore" and i tell them "Well to be honest, i would much rather be Healthy and be able to work" Usually they apologize and agree w/ me on that one <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

This reminds me of the problems I get with being diabetic in addition to having CF. Of course, if I show up to work a little late because I hit the snooze button too many times, I get the "How are you feeling?" or "Are you alright?". I always say I'm ok, politely...but there are some people at work who, knowing I have cfrd, when they share candy or snacks (like if they bring in doughnuts or something) ask me, "can you eat these?" or something to that effect. I reply, "yes, can't you?". Some people are ignorant to things despite their efforts of trying to be caring and concerned.
