How do I know if my friends understand what CF is or how should I tell them I have CF

Don't worry about what they'll think, trust
me I've told plenty of kids, friend, and foe
what and they actually want to know more just
to understand what I'm going through. They don't
treat me any different like I'm enfected. And besides
if they do treat you different with dislike then
apparently they're not your true friends. Only real
friends stay with you. It was wierd for me the
first time to tell kids what I had too but like I said
after I told them they were cool with it. Just keep
the positive in mind. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

My friends are pretty understanding, but its pretty hard to tell if they really do care. at my school they make me go down to the office to take my enzymes <img src="i/expressions/pills.gif" border="0"> and my friends come with me before lunch so it seems like they care. If cf doesnt change your relationship with your friends thats how u know they do care.
