How do you feel about people with colds coming to your house?

Kris, your future inlaws must be related to mine. Ugh. I'm battling a nasty sinus bug and I'm so miserable that I've been blaming my MIL's cooties. She was sick on Xmas and coughed all over me in the car.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid it's going to take something really serious before she takes our concerns seriously. She's more concerned about appearances, what other people think -- if we find out somebody has something worse than "just a cold" that we might not show up to a family event.

I think they should read a large sign at the entrance telling them they are putting you at risk, thus we are at risk.

If they still come in, hogtie and gag them on the floor (<i>to show feelings of helplessness</i>), set something very heavy...hmm, a truck?...on their chest (<i>to show what it's like to not be able to breathe</i>), then take all of their money and credit cards off of their person (<i>to show what it's like to be broke after all of the sickness</i>.) Then leave them there for a good long while (<i>to show this is not a short-term thing for you!)</i>

Make sure you invite them back! <img src=""><img src="">

All this is in jest, of course, but I think it's terribly rude for people to come over when they have colds.
