i was an outpatient and i received my call at midnight. they wanted me there at 5 a.m. and i didnt get into surgery till almost 11 a.m.

I was an outpatient, got called up at 12pm (or 1 pm) didn't go to surgery until 1am..

I was outpatient but on IVs - my CF center and transplant center were not the same.
I was called at 2 am and told they had a donor for me. Was called again to go to the hospital at 7:30 am. Then waited at the hospital until about 9:30 PM before being taken down to surgery.
There were several surgery times set before I was actually taken down to pre op - the first was at 3pm the second at 6pm and the third at 8pm.
They had difficulties coordinating schedules with the hospital that was receiving the donors heart so that is why things were so delayed for me. I was going into surgery about 19-20 hours after getting the original call and came out of surgery around 25-26 hours after the original call.
