My first sign before having a positive pregnancy test was extremely sensitive and tingling nipples. I also started getting noticeable veins in my breasts. That was it for me...since I tested positive 14 days after IUI, more symptoms hadn't really developed yet.

I charted my fertility so I knew when I would be approaching my fertile window. About 3 days before I was supposed to ovulate I started taking Mucinex. Much easier than taking tons of plain robitussin (same ingredient). I also used a product called pre-seed which is the ONLY lubricant that is made specifically to mimic fertile quality cervical fluid. I have never produced good fertile fluid so the pre-seed was my answer. Don't use any other type of lubricant because they kill sperm (FYI). pre-seed is kind of expensive but you only need it when you're fertile. I also used OPKs just as another predictive measure.

As for early pregnancy symptoms - honestly I don't get any symptoms that early - but I "knew" I was pregnant before the test told me (I tested + on day 11). I don't start getting symptoms (like heightened sense of smell, sensitive breasts, nausea) till a week or 2 later.

i used robitussin. i first thought i was pregnant cause i had heartburn out of no where and i normally didn't have it and i had remembered my sister telling me when she got pregnant she got heartburn. so i took one test and saw a faint line...i tested like 9 days before my expected period date. and tested twice more to be sure before going to the doctor. good luck!
