how many times do you take pulmozyme

ok so recently my doctors have told me pulmozyme is now once a day after 20 years.....What changed? is anyone else dealing with this?

if your FEV1 is over 75%, the prescribing information (you can look this up on the pulmozyme website) states that you will benefit from a BID dose

i do it twice a day. doc here switched it to twice a day.

BID=twice a day

I am currently doing pulmozyme twice a day. When I was in the hospital they only Rx'd once a day, until I pointed out the information that Saveferris mentioned and requested BID dosing.

DD takes it once daily. I'll have more on their site to find information regarding BID dosing...I briefly reviewed the site and didn't find that information anywhere. DD is almost four...perhaps not worth increased irritation risk in her smaller airways at this point...

My 12 year old started Pulmozyme when he was about 6 and he was than and still is on it just once a day. My soon to be 7 year old just started on it about 6 months ago and he is on it just once a day. I think it just depends.

My bf only uses it once it a day, suppossed to be at night with the vest...Hypertonic in the am
