How much have you raised???

Good job all of you for raising money for great strides. It is definitley a good cause. With out them, we would not be where we are today.

We started our oun Foundation to raise money for our local families for medical and travel expenses/educational and cultural opportunities and will also give to research..

Last year through walk and auction we raised $79,000 and we have our 2nd annual on june 16th. wish us luck

Our walk is May 20th and we are almost up to $10,000 so far just on-line.
We are "hoping" to maybe surpass the $22,000 and the $24,000+ that we raised the first two years after A's diagnosis. Our team is made up of over 100 walkers. I'll post pics after our walk.

We take fundraising seriously as we know that is what will drive a cure.

I've raised about $1,300 so far -- team total online about $900; however, several team members have indicated they've gotten checks. Or local chapter really pushes the online donations, but we haven't had much luck with it -- DH sent out about 20 sends, my inlaws sent out notification to everyone in their address book and I sent out about 20 also -- DH has raised $20 online, DS about $180 and my inlaws about $50. I mailed out 90 letters and feel I'm more successful with the letterwriting campaign. Our team total in the past has usually been about $5500-8000.

Other teams walking in our area on Saturday have done great with the online donations; however, one is a web page designer. One of the other teams did the slide show send and has raised about $3000 online so far.

I don't have exact #'s yet...money is still coming in...

My big accomplishment is getting my employer (large corperation) to start a team for a walk in their county! They named the team using my name! How awesome, and it is for such a great cause!
