How often do you boil your neb parts?

So I've just read this post and comments, as well as the other boiling nebs topic, and you've all just given me a huge wake-up call. I rinse my nebs out once a day!! As in, NOT after every treatment. I've boiled them, I think once or twice since I've had them..TERRIBLE. I DO rinse them in a vinegar solution, which I was told should happen at least once a week, but I do it probably once a month, IF that.

So I have been completely ignorant on this topic and can't believe the importance of sterilization has never been stressed (or even explained) at any of my clinic visits. I guess they think it's just a given; that we all know or should know. This just shows how valuable a forum like this can be. Thank you all so much for this info. I'm making BIG changes, starting tonight!!

Hi there I am knew on here! I used to find washing my nebs one of the things that stopped me from doing them when i was tired.. lazy eh? I recently brought a baby bottle steriliser (an electric one) and i put my bits in after i have used them. You have to rinse them quickly to get any med drips out but you just put everything and away you go. It saves so much time. If anyone was considering getting one (and it has helped me so much!) make sure all the parts come out and no yucky germs can get trapped in anywhere!
Looking forward to being part of this great site!
