How often do you go to clinic?

Hi everyone. I just got back from Vincent's clinic appt. He gained 3/4 a pound and almost 2 in. in 2 months. YAY!

Anyway, we've only been going there since July/Aug. of last year. I wondered why we were going every 2 months instead of 3 like we did at the last clinic. I thought maybe because they have Vincent's nutritional status listed as "concerning", but I finally asked today and they said Nope, everyone goes every 2 months there. They said it gives them more of a chance to catch small changes in health early.

I was just curious if anyone else's clinic does this? And these are full visits, meeting w/ the nurse, social worker, nutritionist, and doctor each time. Plus height, weight, and sputum culture. (It still drives me nuts that they don't do O2 stats at clinic though, only if you're sick).

We go every three months, not two. I would not object to every two months though if it were offered.

Every 3 months usually. More often if I my health is down from my previous visit. If my list of questions or issues becomes more than 5-10 items then I schedule an appt. sooner than 3 months. Also, if I have any major health concerns I schedule a check up.
Every 2 months while pregnant.

I have friends who go to U of M every 4 months.

We started off going every 2 months, then every 4 months. Now we go to our CF doctor in the City every 6 months and we see our local CF Doctor at least twice a year also -- so we end up going a total of 4 times a year for sure. Usually get the labs done locally and then schedule an appointment a couple months later with the CF doctor in the City about 250 miles away.

Cheyenne goes every month. She has gone every two weeks for the last 2.5 months, but that is because she is sick(er). She goes for her regular monthly check up on Monday.
