How often do you go to clinic?

Kayla goes every 3 months. except when doing a pulmozyme trial <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

and she sees her paediatric doctor inbetween.

Wow, see I always thought everyone just went every 3 months, unless sick, or needing to go sooner for some reason. When Vincent was first diagnosed we went very often, but once everything was under control it was every 3 months.

Debbie, has Cheyenne always gone every month, even when she's not sick? Is that how often all the patients go? Just curious. I bet they know you guys really well!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> But that's good and they'll catch anything early on.

we go every four months here in delaware and yes it was alarming because we were used to going every 2 months before moving here..I feel it is better if you go every 2 months for keeping and catching curved heath issues under control...

I average every 6-8 weeks. I have been monitored closely for the last 2 years since my first culturing MRSA & 2nd strain of PA. I get some breathing room when I am doing better, but not enough to allow me to fall off the path.

we go every 3 mos in cincinnati, but when we were going up to Dayton, they said they have everyone going every 2 months. It makes u wonder, sometimes I think they have less CF patients in Dayton, so they may need the business.......I think the CFF recommends every 3 months

We actually got to have a break Januarys visit was the first time they said see ya in 2 months.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> We see the nurse, our nutritionist, and doctor. height, weight, blood pressure, o2 sat,and temp, and culture. We have not always done a culture but lately we have. We dont see our social worker every time. But any time we want to or need to talk to her we can.

I went every 6 months as a child (I was on enzymes, but had no lung involvement, and my mom didn't want me around the other cf kids any more than I had to be), and now I go every 3 months. They do my O2 stats everytime.
