Hi JennyCoulon

This is my first time writing on this site but I thought I might give my two cents. My daughter in 19 months but we always have to pay particular attention to her digestive system. That is our problem area. We were told to give Keira Miralax every other day to keep her system running more smoothly. Miralax relieves occasional constipation and is a stool softener. You can buy it at any drug store and don't need a perscription. If she doesn't have Miralax, she will be regular for a while but then struggle to get rid of what looks like very sticky greasy poo. After she has gotten rid of that, she is back to normal. When we put her on Miralax, her system started being a little more consistent. You had mentioned about the stomach pain. Keira gets that just before she passes the difficult poos. Once the difficult poo is gone the "back pressure" is gone, and I have my happy Keira back. Because she is still in diapers, we just use diaper wipes on her which help clean and cool her bottom after a difficult potty. I don't know if this helps.

Thanks for the responses. We have done the Miralax when he was younger when he had some minor bowel obstructions. He doesn't have a problem with going it just seems like maybe it is the grease. Since I posted this he has been sure to take enzymes with every thing that he eats including cereal which he wasn't very good at remembering.

Thanks for your help, I will remember some of these suggestions for the future if the problem comes back. Thanks,
