Hypertonic Saline and Infant

my granddaughter,who was 3 months old, got very sick at the end of June and had to be hospitalized. They tried different meds with little response. Tried hypertonic saline and next thing we new, she awoke like a new baby, happy, smiling with the doctors amazed how well it worked on her compared to expensive medicine. She is almost 5 months old and is doing saline twice a day (morning and before bed and is seems to be working. She went for her checkup last week and all seemed to be well. Hoped that helped.

Briceton started HTS at 18 months old. He seems to tolerate it with no problem, and we have seen some improvement.

Thank you so much for your responses. I guess I just need our doctor to be more specific as to when he believe HTS "should" be started as opposed to the hazy noncommital answers we've been given...
