Our daughter started 7% HTS right before she turned four. Twice a day. She does Albuterol prior, to relax the airways and help reduce irritation. She calls HTS the "scratchy nose" medicine. We use a mask, but we turn the mask so that it is just over her mouth. I wonder if she is then breathing through her nose and avoiding the HTS altogether. But lately we have been trying the mouthpiece with HTS and she tolerates it pretty well.

We do Pulmozyme as well. We did NOT try HTS in the doc's office first, but I knew from reading on here that I needed to watch for an adverse reaction. I know what you mean about them not being able to tell you what is wrong. "My tummy hurts" seems to cover it all I've been meaning to tell you I LOVE the pictures of your precious babies in your signature.
