Hypertonic saline?

HEY EVERYONE long time no see, OOOOOOOOOOOO I MISS YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH. anyways i wanted to ask you about hypertonic saline. whats it like? is it good? drs are gonna stick me on it after my clean out which im half way through right now. Lucas is fantastic, hes getting bigger and has a fasination with his feet and watches himself walk and says "shoe shoe shoe" over and over again. Hes so orny and has a humor like his daddy. Me and my husband are divorcing which is almost over. Right now we are getting along fine for him and going for shared parenting. I gave my life to god and i pray everyday now. My ssi is almost coming through!!! OO I MISSED YOU GUYS WOO

Hello, My husband was just in the hospital for A tune up and to have A port put in and they had him on it when he was in there. He didnt care for it too much just cause it kinda choked him up some and made him cough alot. It irritates your throat. It is suppose to be really good for you though. my granddaughter is on hypertonic saline, but she takes an inhaler first to open airways and make less irrating. It sees to be working fine for her.

I know this is a long routine, but I do albuterol via a neb first (because with the inhaler you have to wait 15 minutes and it doest work as well). This helps to open the airways so that the mucus can get out easier. Then I do Pulmozyme to help thin the mucus. Then I do the HTS. It seems to help with my wheezing doing this routine. I had tried it other ways, without alb or without anything and yes you still get stuff up, but I used to wheeze a lot doing it those ways.

I love it. I have been on it for like a year and a half and it really helps me to stay clear throughout the entire day. I dont cough as much during the day and I can breathe better through the day.
