Congratulations on your beautiful new daughter!

Your feelings are completely normal. Try to set aside the guilt and just breathe in how much you love your children and hold that deep inside you. Congratulations on your joy!

Congratulations <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Yeh, it was a bittersweet experience when we found our last child did not have cf.

I have never actually been able to completely enjoy that fact...I understand your feelings about that...there's always that thing (at least for me) that for example, when your non cfer recovers from a cold you are amazed..or grows normally...but for me there is always a certain deep sadness around my other children having cf, so I am never able to rejoice or celebrate fully my last child not having it.

On the positive side, my kids are all well and healthy anyhow <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Congratulations on your beautiful girl! I understand the mixed feelings. I will never forget the day I got the call that my baby didn't have CF. I started crying and my daughter who was 2.5 wcf at that time asked me why I was crying. I told her "don't worry, I am crying bc I am happy" then she asked me what I am happy about and I instantly felt guilty. There was no way I could tell her that I was happy bc the baby doesn't have CF. It didn't take me long to get over my guilt though, so hopefully it doesn't take you long either.
