I have made the change!!

I finally got enough courage to break away from the clinic that I have been going to for the last 11 yrs!
My Cf Team there is no longer a match for me (to put it nicely). So I have made the change.
I have an appt next week with a new center and boy am I nervous!!!
My hubby is nervous too and this has been a difficult decision for both of us.
But its something that needed to be done and although we are nervous I think it will be best for my care in the long run.
The only downfall so far is that the new center is almost 3 hrs away UGH!!!
My last center was 1 1/2 depending on traffic and that was hard enough to deal with!
But my motto is ya gotta go where the good Drs are!!!
Hope all is well with you all!!!

Oh and BTW I have been seizure free for about 5-6 days now!!! The meds seem to be finally working!!!!

I hope the quality of care makes up for the distance. Quality is always better!!! Feeling comfortable and cared for is what's important. Making the switch is very nerve racking - what am I giving up, what will I be getting, is the grass greener...??? You won't know the answers until you do it. If you find it doesn't work out like you had hoped, you have a fall back....
I truly hope you find what you need !!!

Excellent news about the lack of seizures, I'm sure that's been a heavy load off your mind..... I hope this trend continues !!!
