Hi Girls,
I just want to say, "thank you", for the warm returning welcome. It means a lot to me. I really wasn't to sure how any of you would react upon my return. I had debated lots about just "pretending" to be new or to actually mention it was me. I decided to reflect that I was Jennifer1981 in this section because I know many of you know all about what I have gone through with trying to conceive for the past 1.5 years. I felt it was easier to explain who I was so you already knew all about my endless journey to be a Mom. I was hoping I wouldn't be cast out and took the risk. However, when I post in the adult section, don't count on me to mention that I am the ex-Jennifer1981. That probably won't be the case since that is where the problem started in the first place.
Well, I have some additional news...
Fertility Friend just determined today that I did ovulate 4 days ago. My temp on Saturday was 96.7 F. Today, it was 97.6 and rising. By the end of the week, it will most likely be 98.5 F, which is the usual. I have a low waking temp, huh? I guess when I say I'm cold, I'm cold. LOL!
So now I have more questions than answers....
If I look at the whole picture, the pregnancy outlook looks good... Jake and I "baby danced" everyday for the past 6 days, except yesterday when I started having the left-sided pain. I ovulated 5 days sooner than expected, but my last two cycles went from 30 days to 36 days (which is strange). This cycle was more like my usual 30 day.
However, this chart looks nothing like the last...It might me a good thing or not. My last chart showed a triphasic pattern but got my period. The cycle was longer than normal. Fertility Friend was slightly confused with the OV date.
This cycle looks much more normal. Plus, I used 2,000 mg to 3,000 mg of Evening Primrose Oil a day since Day 1 of this cycle. For the first time, I had watery CM without any greenish mucus of any kind. That was a plus. It was much easier to pinpoint OV this cycle. Now, I stopped it and started taking Red Rasberry since it is supposed to help the egg implant into the uterus. EPO (Evening Primrose Oil) is used only Day 1 until OV, then you must stop taking it or else it will prevent implantation. It thins the mucus great. For me, it worked better than Mucinex and Robitussin. You can use Robi with EPO if you choose. I didn't this cycle. Just thought I'd educate...
Anyway, now the left-sided pain. Well, it is tugging and pulling. Last night, it got pretty intense. I kept feeling like I had to go to the bathroom and couldn't or I would go a little bit then return an hour later. Also, I had to pee more with the pressure. I got extremely bloated and still am this morning. I feel like I have to go to the bathroom so badly and can't really go.
This is how I feel when I have my left ovarian cyst. So I'm sure it's back, but there must be a connection between OV and this annoying cyst. Something...Yes, I could be pregnant but after only 4 days... I can't wait until this appointment. The doctor will have to think of something...
I get this pain and all about 3 times a year. I had it in November 2006, and that is when they did the vaginal ultrasound and found that the left ovary measured 4.6 x 3.8 x 4.9 cm. The right ovary measured 2.9 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm. Big difference, huh.
This is the what the results say to anyone that thinks this may help...
The uterus was visualized, anteverted in orientation with a symmetrical shape. The uterus measures 7.6 x 3.2 x 4.7 cm is size. The endometrium was symmetrical in shape with a double layer thickness of 1.3 cm. (The 1.3 cm is underlined.) The endometrial lining appeared regular.
Complex left ovarian cyst which measures 3.2 x 2.7 x 4.0 cm...
Doctor notes on side say ? endo.
Also, I called my Mom last night and she said that she only ever had lots of ovarian cysts. She said she was always getting them popped. Her only sister had to get everything removed due to endometriosis and so did my Dad's only sister... I know that probably isn't a good thing.
She also said that when I was 15 my old GYN doctor had setup a laprascopy to check me for endometriosis. However, she couldn't remember why it never happended. Instead they left me on the birth control pill for the next 7 years.
So any suggestions.... Sorry, to be so long. It always turns out to be longer than I expect.
