Thank you all, for your kind responses. Amy is just Amy, she is "our" Amy-- remember that folks--we are all in the same family--related by disease, sisters and brothers by heart. That's what Barbaro was--a mighty heart.

Maybe your analogy wasn't the one that Amy or Emily or someone else would use, but it was your thought and you have a right to express your feelings just like they do. You don't dare have to apologize for anything. These people need to chill the heck out and get lives outside of this place.</end quote>

And what in the hell are you picking on me for? (That is a *head scratch* out of nowhere, what the hell?? Not a "how dare you" offended, what the hell?). I haven't even responded to this thread. I only responded once to the original one in off topic, and I didn't say anything about Terri's intentions or whether or not I even thought the thread was stupid (in all honesty, I have no opinion on it, I'm neutral). I just thought it was uncalled for to start calling names and said so. End of story.

i must have had a total brain fart b/c I meant to say amy or craig's (from arizona) analogy yadda yadda...I was thinking of you emily, b/c I had just read your comment in the original thread about amy (which annoyed me, not neccesarily what you said, just amy's comment, and the feel the whole thread had-it turned into the amy show when terri was trying to be nice-again, it just annoyed me-not a how dare you annoyed!!) -and I tyyped you instead. Anyway, my bad. I guess I'm really tired today. Sorry about that-when I saw you quoting my name and then saing "what the hell...???!", I was like-huhhhhh?......what did i do now???

I wasn't offended it was a nice sad story (although I hate horses, they scare me!)

In all honesty Amy has taught me so much on this board, not just medically but also how to see things. There was a time that I thought she was so rude and I got mad at her for something she said. Then I realized that a. she was right and I just didn't want to admit it and b. she is blunt and says it like she sees it with no regrets. And I admire that and wish I did that more.

We do have to remember it is very hard to know what a person is like on email. what sounds normal when talking can sound horrible when writing. Maybe she had just read about someone dying and then saw this right away and though it insensitive.

In the end, I would rather have a blunt Amy who has done so much research for all CFers and is always willing to help you find out more than no Amy at all. But that is just my opinion. "shrugs" -ok emily I know I just copied your "shrugs" statement you do and I won't do it again but i felt it appropriate
