She dropped Ahava off at her parents' house, and then left for California. She went to Disney and Universal for the week. She very much hates her mother (I am one for family, and trust me when I says she has every right to hate her mother), and just didn't want to spend the weekend at their house. So she left Ahava to visit with her grandparents, and then high-tailed it out of there.

Allie is one of our regulars. Her husband had CF, died May 5th of 2005. Allie hates her mother because she ALWAYS treated Ry like dirt, just for being sick and having CF (bot of which were obviously not his fault). Many horrible stories. If Allie wishes to add, she may. I don't feel the need to tell anymore than necessary. Basically, she left Ahava with her parents and then went off to vacation in California and has had a wonderful time. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

The point of the trip was really so Ahava could see her grandparents. They live something like 10 hours away, so the trip's real purpose was for Ahava to see family. Allie just didn't think she could stand to stay with her and be around her mother for a week. So she dropped Ahava off to spend time with the grandparent people and had a whole week of free time to herself. She really needed it, too. She told me she's having (/had) a wonderful time, and that the whole thing was really good for her. Plus she wants Ahava to be older when she takes her to Disney Land. Ahava is only 5 right now. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
