I don't know if this is actually true or not, but I heard somewhere that our feet help to regulate our body temperature, so if our feet are cold the rest of our body will feel cold. Anyway, it seems like I always feel a lot warmer when I sleep with my socks on as opposed to sleeping barefoot.

yes, this is probably why my mom always made me put on socks , even when I wasn't cold!

I have these wonderful space heaters that I have in several rooms throughout my house. The heat pump we have is enough for my husband and daughter, but I freeze even with layers of clothing on. I got the space heaters on Amazon a year ago, and they heat up a room really fast and are safe to the touch.
I drink hot tea or decaf coffee throughout the day to keep me warm too. No matter how many layers I put on, I cannot get warm enough when I go outside in the cold weather.
When I was pre-tx, my infections raised my metabolism so much that I was hot all the time.. even at 90 lbs.. I was hot. Post-tx, I'm infection free (except for my sinuses), and I'm freezing all the time!!!!!!

The thing that always works for me is drinking a hot beverage. At work I drink hot water or tea all day long. I have a hard time dressing stylishly when I have many layers on to keep warm. And everyone else has open toed shoes and short sleeve shirts on. My feet are always cold... it's really annoying. Sometimes I stick my feet in the bathtub, which I fill with hot water.

Thanks for all the ideas and warm wishes, I will try some of the suggestions.
Except WHAT ON EARTH do you do with the hairdryer LOL?
btw Thanks for the thought on the clubbing...but interestingly I have almost no clubbing and my sats are pretty good at 94-96, so I don't think in my case its related to low O2
