I'm sure she's not the first CF child to do this, perhaps they all do at one time or another, but today my 9 month old (w/CF) picked up a baby doll and started hitting it on the back like CPT. It made me laugh, I thought it was really cute and thought maybe its a good sign that she's seeing it as part of our regimen.

Just thought I'd share! No one else will get it, and by the time I explain it all, it isn't THAT interesting!! LOL!

Thanks for sharing. It brought a smile to my face and to my heart reading it. Alyssa is learning to be a good mommy.
She must have a wonderful role model.

My daughter used to do that as well. Now she is on PEP but my niece has started doing it to her dolls as well, because she remembers watching her with the clapping.
Thanks for bringing back that memory...I'd forgotten.

I dont remember how old I was, but I know it was young....maybe 5 or so. I also gave my doll CPT. As well as hooking my doll up to the IV machine (empty line held to her arm with tape). Of couse, she always got a bandaid when IVs were done . As well as listening to her "breathing" with a stethoscope (sp?). I had a very active imagination as a child, but I think all CF kids do it at some point. 'Monkey see, monkey do' type of thing. Usually, whatever happened to me, my poor cabbage patch doll got it too since she went with me everywhere.

litte note: I still have my cabbage patch doll, but she is packed away in the attic.
