Push for the genetic testing, and push hard! You and your beautiful daughter deserve to know what is going on with her so that you can get her on the right road to health.

Sick Kids has a great reputation, as far as I know, and I can't beleive that they didn't automatically go to genetic testing when you first had concerns.

I'm pretty much just echoing what everyone else has said, but I would really encourage you to do a full genetic test, just to be sure.

When I was born my sweat tests were normal & inconclusive. I was demanded to be retested at age 20 after doing some research; sweat test still inconclusive/borderline normal...but genetic tests confirmed I *did* have CF.

I will insist on the genetic screen. I asked this doctor before and he said no but I was not trying to hard because we did have the other sweat test ordered.

I will let you all know, thanks for your support.
