In my opinion.. if everyone would just be respectful in their responses to a post there would be no problem at all.... Its not <b>what</b> you say but <b>how</b> you say it . With a little gesture of friendliness and respect, you can say the nastiest thing to someone, and it still comes out sounding nice.

Since we already have TONS of topics, adding another one will only add confusion to navigating through this...especiallly for new members.
AND, since this seems to go back to the suggestion of Private Topics, perhaps it would be more beneficial to utilize that unique function.
Thus, somewhere in this forum, perhaps more detail on how to use the Private Topics function could be useful.
In addition, having the same function as the "Bulk Mail" that is available in the Outlook Explorer, when sending E-mail to a list of friends, or family, etc., could be added so that when using the Private Topic function and wanting to send to the same people, that "Group" could be generated so that everytime it's used, it becomes simpler than the current method, which is to search for everyone's user names until you find who you want to include.

Also maybe people could be more honest in their original posts. If that person just wants support for what they are doing then they should say that and tell others not to comment.

If the person wants all opinions then they should ask a question. If someone asks a question then they should be prepared for what happens.

I think there is a fine line between support and just telling someone what they want to hear.

I agree that sometimes posts get out of control but really if you think about the number of posts on here and the amount that get locked because of what happens it really is a small amount
