I know what you mean! In AK, if I teach for 20 years, I can retire, or 25 years with full medical. I have already taught 9 years in AK, so I thought if I made it to retirement, I'd want the full medical. But then, when I looked at the cap, I realized that I wouldn't have any medical left.
