I go to clinic at Children's as well(although I am well past the pedi age). They are one of the best clinics and are very active in drug trials etc... as well. I have been seen there for almost 30yrs and I can tell you a lot has changed since I first started going. As Cheryl said, there is no waiting room. You are taken immediately to an exam room and then everything is brought to you. Also, if you need to have any testing etc... done outside of clinic they give you a little blue card that indicates you are a contact precautions and you will not have to wait in any waiting rooms for whatever testing is needed. You are immediately brought into the room required for whatever test is being done. When I went for an EKG recently I almost didn't stop at the reception desk in cardiology. They just had to print out 1 piece of paper(30 seconds) and I was taken back to a room.
