Yes, I'm definately going to do that Faust. I just made an appointment with the ear nose and throat doctor today. I'll be seeing him next week. Your suggestion was definately one of the many that i wrote down and questioned my doctor about. Aren't you guys excited?? You were a part of an interrogation!! lol

I would agree with Faust. My sinuses at most times are the culpret for my lung infections. Sometimes I think they are worse off than my lungs. I've had 5 sinus surgeries (about every 15 months) because of polyps.
Using insulim DID cut down on my lung infections when I got my A1C down to 7 (from 11!) The bacteria (most likely PA) feed on the excess sugar.
All those IV's is concerning. My doctor never puts me on more than a 3week course due to the chance of developing resistance. Although, they should do a synergy test to see what combonation of antibiotics will combat the bugs best. Perhaps they should also culture your nose "gook" too to see if it's the same as the "gook" in your lungs.

So when do we all get our medical degrees? :)

Are you in the NY area? I went to LIJ on Long Island when I lived there...they were only just starting an adult center. Now that I'm in CT, Yale has a GREAT adult CF center...my doctor is AWESOME. Yale New Haven - Winchester Chest Clinic.

Yes I am in NY, that's where I go, LIJ. But unfortunately their adult sect (based on just straight up pulmonologists) is not as good as their pediatrics. Oh how I miss the days of pedes!! They were amazing.
