I have always been SUPER salty, i'm talking like visible salt deposits on my skin in the summer and after exercising and exertion, like it looks like a layer of white dust on my forehead, neck, chest, legs. I hate the way it feels on my skin and I am super self concious about it. I get a little obsessive about washing it off. Ewww. Yuck yuck yuck. My dogs like it, however.

How salty are all of you? I have been this way all my life. My question is: does one's saltiness correlate with one's sweat test score? Does everyone with CF have this problem?

Hi Kelly

I do think it is common Cf issue.

When I was younger my work boot would also get that white dust on them from
sweating. I would also get the salt dust on my arms legs too.

The salt in my sweat can get so strong that it really burns my eyes
if it gets in my eye's.

Dogs love me too lol.

My dog loves me. I find the salt burns my skin if I don't wash it off very soon. My hubby says my kisses are salty.

I'm salty too. It is so bad that people can actualy see it on my arm (salt). In addition to seeing it, I have had others rub my arm or forehead to feel it! It's gross...
