In search of wisdom, the truth will set you free

<i>"If you had no idea who I was, knew nothing about me, but knew you were going to die tonight and I was the last person you were ever going to talk to; What would you tell me? What would you want me to know that you have learned in life? What wisdom would you pass on to me on your deathbed? What gained experience(s) from life would you want me to know so badly that it would be the last thing(s) you passed on to me before death?" </i>

Great topic, I could write forever on this one because I would rather talk to someone I don't even know rather than most of the people that I do know. Let me gather my thoughts and I'll post something late tonight<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif" border="0">

if i should die tonight,
i promise to go quietly.
no second questioning;
no aimless meandering;
for i have lived as i have loved.
no last thoughts, no last wishes,
no regrets to be undone.
what you must know i need not say,
i have loved you all
and that love remains

There are times when I'd rather talk to someone I've never even seen before rather than the people I know. So...what would I say if this was my last night here.
The hardest part of CF for me was the loneliness. I never got over it. If there's only one bit of knowledge I could share it's really, really simple. Love is what it's all about. Life without love and acceptance is like living as a hollow dead tree. Unblooming in the spring, no vibrant colors in the fall. Just lifeless existance as time whisps by year after year. Leave the hateful and hurtful things that happen in the past where it belongs, let that stuff go as quick as it came. Love is just about the only thing we might be able to take with us after we pass-on. It's really the only thing worth searching for anymore.
I guess to sum it up, <i>Life.....Death.....love in between<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif" border="0"></i>

I enjoyed reading many of your comments. If there is such a thing as life after death or past lives, you guys most have lived many lives. You have learned so much. You are wise old souls.

LOVE yourself as much as you would love the person who you feel very close to. If that is your parent, husband wife, best friend. Sometimes in life (I have read and agree) that we treat the ones we love better than ourselves.

Sorry I'm just now responding to all of your wonderful comments! My internet has been down the past week and I just now got it fixed.

I've been thinking this topic a lot lately, and here's a kicker.

Think about your closest friends, everyone who is the closest to you, imagine what you would tell THEM if you knew tonight would be your last night. Is there anyone you know who you would have nothing to tell them? You are SO close to them that they know everything about you, everything you feel about them, and everything you live for? How amazing a friend would that be? And on that note.... Why don't your other friends know the things you would only tell them on your deathbed?
