The daycare director asked if DS was constipated or why he thought he needed a scary book. Explained DS's confusion -- that we were changing enzymes and he was confused as to why he wasn't stooling every time he went to the bathroom.

Liza, this is not news to you but your kiddo is hysterical! What a total cutie!

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote> He doesn't appear to have any abdominal distress -- stomachaches, constipation issues...</end quote></div>

This was our experience when we upped our enzyme dosage (we <i>did</i> have these issues) so I'm really glad to know that things are working out, so to speak. I know you hate the touchy-feely enzyme dosing thing so good job and hang in there! Maybe you will be able to stop carrying plastic bags around with you? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

When he was a baby, it seemed that whenever we upped his enzymes by even the slightest bit or if his zantac was increased, he'd have horrible issues -- more spit up, stomach discomfort and distention, gas. So I'll admit I'm a little apprehensive about the whole situation. Add to that how "dramatic" he can be -- swatting himself on the thigh and telling his poop to come out 'cuz he doesn't quite understand that he may not alway poop each and every time he's on the toilet. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Keeps us on our toes.
