Another thing to check is number of respirations at rest. I still check DS from time to time while he's sleeping. It was usually the first indicator when he was a baby that something was off, if he was breathing more rapidly at rest.

If you have a baby book, it should tell you want the normal rate is, may also give symptoms of rsv -- flaring of nostrils, rapid -- panting breaths, as well as the retracting.

Did they do a baseline chest x-ray?
Aspiration can definitely cause choking to the point of stopping breathing and turning blue. It can also cause pneumonia. I would not want them to 'brush it off' if they think she may be doing this.

Yes, burping her frequently (between sides and when she's done nursing, more often if needed) and keeping her upright after feeding will help... possibly adding a reflux med at some point if frequent spitting up remains an issue, too... Having her sleep in a semi-upright position if needed can help, as well. Emily threw up so much as an infant... she spent a lot of time sleeping in her swing and infant seat- she slept a lot better there, and so did I- worried less about her choking.

Glad to hear she's growing so well and that you learned how to do cpt. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

DS was on zantac for reflux as a baby -- since he was about 2 weeks old. They also had us raise up the head of his crib a notch, so he slept at an incline. I know DH's cousin's baby had horrible reflux and they used some sort of wedge to keep him upright.
