Hi,
I know some of you use the Infinity pump too and I wanted to pass along the important information we got today about a problem with the new screw top 500mL bags.
Our home health care company sent a flyer with the following statement:
"A caregiver of one of our patients recently called to report a problem with the Infinity 500 mL feeding bag with tubing (part #INFO500). The food pump was working in reverse. It sucked the contents from the child into the feeding bag tube instead of delivering food through the tubing into the child's stomach"
Then they explain that the tear drop on the green tube must face a certain way, it is incorrectly attached if going the wrong way. So, if you put the cassette in and turn the pump the long way with the black dial at the top, the tear drop on the green tubing should be going down.
I hope this helps prevent anyone here from having problems with it! I want our Joey back <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
