Inhaling HS

THanks for the replies. I do airway clearance with the flutter and vest. I realize colistan is an antibiotic where HS is just to make mucus less sticky. I am looking for something that will help on the off months of TOBI which are my hardest but as of late even on TOBI I am still coughing.

Does anyone think there is any truth to changing things up a bit. I have been on the same neb drugs FOREVER and I am wondering if my body needs to be shaken up a bit.

I started the HTS last week and felt the difference almost immediately. I agree though with the comment regarding which machine you use to nebulize the HTS.

The first few days I used an old Voyage machine. I felt a difference but the most obvious difference was after I started using a Pari machine and nebulizer cup. It obviously gets the HTS much deeper into my lungs and gets more stuff up. Even on the occasions when I don't cough anything up while nebbing, I feel much better than if I didn't do it.

I have a portable ultrasonic nebulizer, but I haven't tried the HTS in it yet. I'll let you know when I do.
