Heidi,

Glad to know others with this gene combination. My daughter, Abby, was diagnosed prenatally with Delta F508 and R117H -7T. We attend regularly scheduled CF clinic visits. Last winter she had a bout with RSV and we are again on the RSV shot and watching her more closely this winter.

Abby has not presented any digestive issues and is expected to remain pancreatic sufficient. She has just started on CPT and daily (two times a day) breathing treatments.

As I am sure you are aware from reading on the boards and doing your own research and discussions with your CF center that prognosis is pretty good.

Just thought I would mention this change since my last post, my 7 and 5-year-old had their clinic visit today. They are starting enzymes. My five year-old might begin taking an appetite stimulant in a few months.

Welcome Heidi, my son also has the same genes as your kids, so I will look upon your posts with interest. Craig is having a bit of bother putting on weight just now, maybe its just that age (2, 1/2), he also is pancreatic sufficiant.....
