Is Atypical CF really all that uncommon?

I'd be considered fairly atypical. I was diagnosed early because of failure to thrive, and I rarely have lung complications. My FEV1s are typically around 115%. For reference's sake, I just finished IV treatment because they dipped down to around 105. I attribute my good health to two things:

1. Luck.

2. Preventative care.

As a child, whenever my FEV1 dropped even 5 points, my parents would force the doctors to put me on antibiotics. The preventative measures taken by doctors now in comparison to those taken 20 years ago are tremendous, and I've been assured that should I wish to, I will live to 90. I guess that in that sense, I have atypical CF, yes?
