Everyone's Birth Day <b>is</b> a self centered day - it's the day you, and only you, were born. It's the one day out of the whole year that celebrates you being alive! Party away!

DO IT !!!!!! i wish i had.... i didn't want a 40 th. or 50 th., but i did want a 55 th.(guess i felt like really celebrating turning 55).. needless to say i didn't get one, and i was disappointed to say the least..... i say go ahead and do it, why not do something to make yourself happy. i'm sure you do alot for everyone else.... I LOVE the part about the c'old do not attend' comment. I get so annoyed with people who will come over/ meet somewhere, etc. They will hug me and then go on and on of how horribly sick they have been! Ahhhhhh. It drives me nuts. I don't know why they wouldn't think about this before meeting/hugging. I guess non-CF'ers just think differently.
