Is this possible?

I do get my IVs already mixed so that they have to be kept in the refridgerator; thats of course the easiest way, but many premixed antibiotics have to be used within a week.
As far as I know, some people do mix their IVs at home (its similar as to mix colistin for inhalation), so you can take it everywhere without a fridge and it doesn´t get "bad" after a week; that could be a alternative if your company doesn´t deliver the premixed to another state.

In that case, I'd say get all your meds before you leave (you can explain the situation to them), and just take them all with you.

Thanks for the great feedback. Fortunately, I've been feeling a bit better the last few days so I may be able to wait until I get back.

One difficulty for me would be the fact that we are out of state and gone for two weeks. The IV's meds I usually take (zosyn and tobra) are good for like 5-7 days. I usually do them 3x a day and they come pre-mixed in the "med balls" which makes it simple to use.
