Thanks for the info about the scholarship Julie. The money really isn't the issue for us and there is no way we would qualify for the scholorship. It is more of a "bringing a child into this world" issue, if that makes any sense. Gess is really hesitant to do that because of the CF. For me, I really want the experience of being pregnant (I know that sounds selfish)...so... Anyway, we actually had a good conversation about it last night and I think that Gess is understanding my point of view more. So...I am sure that we will have many many more discussions about it. And if we do go the IVF route, we will definitely go with your doc Julie--having someone familiar with male CF would be great. It wasn't an easy decision for us either, we had a lot of "what if" questions. And i completely understand you wanting to be pregnant, I felt that same way and I wouldn't say it's selfish- rather normal actually.
