Yes my son is 5 and he complains about knee pain too. So I took him to his Peds doctor and he did x-rays come to find out he has effusion on his right knee cap...the doctor referred me to a specialist in Orthopediactrics...I asked his CF doctor if it was HPOA and she told me he was too young to have this CF related joint disease...I am not stopping at that answer...we are our childrens advocates we need answers...they want to tell you the minimum....
