Just a reminder - keep in prayer

Amber continues to do well. She had her central line (IV in neck)
removed yesterday & the IV in her hand removed today. Her kidney blood
levels have lowered to a normal range (1.4) for the first time in months.
She is up & walking 3-4 x/day & drinking plenty of fluids on her own.
The doctors are talking about maybe releasing her to the apartment
later this week. I'm still not sure how long we will need to remain in
Pittsburgh. You can send Amber a get well e-card that will be delivered
the next day to www.chp.edu & click on send e-card. Thanks for all
the support & prayers. I will update again soon.

Amber continues to do well. She is up & walking more & more each day.
We are both still having pain. Yesterday we had to go to the
hospital for blood work in the morning & we received a call from the nurse in
the afternoon telling us we had to go back to the ER for an injection
of medication because Amber's white cell count was dangerously low. So
we headed back up around 3:30 & got home around 6pm. We go back again
tomorrow to be admitted for an IV infusion of a anti-rejection med. but
we get to leave after it's completed. We then have another appointment
for blood work & we see the renal doc on Wednesday morning. I am
having trouble with my potassium being high after the transplant so I get
that checked again on Wednesday as well. I was told by the transplant
nurse we may be able to come home after our appointment on Wednesday if
Amber's blood work is OK but I'm not sure if that's true or not. I
have not been told anything like that from any of the docs yet. We
should find out more on Wednesday. I will update again in a few days.
Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers!!
