Firstly, I would like to say that interacting with all of you over the years has been the greatest pleasure. It has been incredibly fufilling to offer help and advice and also be the recipient of help and advice.
Sadly, for very personal reasons, my time here has come to an end. I have no intention of abandoning the friendships I have made here and certainly would love to continue to help in any way I can.
If you wish to remain in contact, please email me at jmcculley527@gmail.com and I will provide you with my facebook, or we can keep in contact via email.
I will be available on another forum, however until it is completed email will be the best way to reach me.
I wish you all health and happiness.

Since not all of you read my threads, but do read my posts. I to second everything Jonathan has already said. My blog is incomudroxcf.blogspot.com and my email is frank.x.via@gmail.com. Until the new forum is ready that is how you can keep in contact with us both and follow my progress.

The best to those that wish to stay here.

just curious if you can tell me which forum you are going to? email is kross1104@gmail.

I know someone else who recently got kicked off . I had joined this site years ago and then left to go to another site and it has slowed down quite a bit and came back here since I needed pregnancy advice. But I always like to make new CF friends.

Printer, email them - whatever it is from the sound of it I doubt they want to get into any of it in anyway here - open forum or PM. I too will be following once the new forum is up and going but I have my own reasons.

Aw, i'm so sorry to hear this. I'm sort of new here but I come here often to learn from all of you who have been doing this for a far greater time than i have. I was just diagnosed last year at the age of 49 and you guys have been a life saver for someone who didn't have a clue as to how to process all this new information. You have taught me, inspired me and kept me going at a time when i was in shock and disbelief.

I have to tell you there were many days when someone would ask a question and the first thing i would think is, "i hope havoc has something to add or maybe frank will respond" I know you must have your reasons for leaving but i just wanted you guys to know that you are amazing and if there will be another forum i would like to join when it is up and running. Thanks guys!

I just sent you an email.

I also know someone who was kicked off this board for sharing a information about a facebook group for people with CF. Ridiculous.

:::wondering how long it will take for this thread to be deleted:::

Havoc, Incomudrox, etc. - In the meantime, have you considered cf2chat.com? That is another forum available now. It is for CFers, run by CFers.

Kristen, I was trying to get the person you speak of to ofinstead of recruit people away from our site to their group (FB group leading to a website)to work with us. I saw a mutually beneficial opportunity. ...In the meantime as they pondered it, I actively let them solicate people through PM and through advertising on her signature. In hindsight,I was way too laid back about it, it broke the agreement we all sign as members. When they decided not to there was a 12 hr block on the persons acct until we decided what to do. The block was removed she was asked to stop advertising and recruiting from our site. She should still be able to access the site.
I hope this helps clear the waters for you. I value your imput on this site and in an effort of full disclosure I consult for Jeanne on occasion for various projects. Few cf organizations pay cfers for our vaste knowledge but Jeanne and Peter do!
After 17 years this site still is not self sustaining. Can we really fault Jeanne and Peter for wanting to find sponsorships, partnerships, so this site can financially stay afloat with subsidy?

Makes no sense for me to do that really as I don't know what the deal is and even if I did it's not my place to say - I see now my comment before could've implied that I do know so just wanted to clear that up. I'm also not abandoning this forum altogether just was saying that from me getting to know these guys over the past few months they are very knowledgeable, down to earth guys with only good intentions for the CF community who actually have CF and can relate to us on that level so my mind is going all over the place as to why this is happening and what's behind it.
Knowledge is power and just from what I've gained from them in the few months I've gotten to know them I find invaluable so to me it would be stupid for me to just not follow them where they go but as I said I'm not totally abandoning here - just will be where they go also, just like how I'm on many car forums cause I'm a car enthusiast.
However, now that I've read other folks comments it seems some shaky stuff is involved as I'm sure just from knowing these guys and for them to up and say they are leaving after the status they held on these boards - something has to be behind this and I can only think and fear it is what I originally thought years ago when I first came across this site but after snooping around for a while I decided to join anyway cause the information and people here were just too good to pass up. I don't think I need to spell out in detail what Iam thinking either so I won't go there and from the sound of it it's best I don't cause I too could be banned. Evidently people here know allot more than I do and other comments I've read now really has my mind going too.
Another reason why I'll follow them is that to be honest I've thought for a while now that this forum is very lacking as far as how it works - I guess you could say it's the engine it runs on or software or whatever. Many other forums I'm on just seem so much more user freiendly and feature packed in comparisson. So with that and the fact I know these guys are quite tech savvy I think they can pull off a much more intuitive "up to the time" forum board. I do appreciate this forum as it does it's job for the most part but I do think there's loads of room for improvement in that department and this is just a personal thing.

There are no words for how much this saddens me I enjoy this forum very much especially Johnathon and Franks posts!! I will by emailing to get the new forum as well. I have learned so much from this forum and am still learning. I don't feel so alone. I don't see why anyone would want to do anything to offend these two since they are so very important to this forum. Really really hate to hear this.
