My husband doesn't use home health but I work at a clinical lab where we perform testing for quite a few agencies. I sometimes really worry about their patients! We get a lot of calls from home care RNs asking about really basic tube types, like what a CBC or BMP is drawn in. They are also much more likely than inpatient or clinic nurses to be clueless when I call them with test results, even criticals. A little scary! Maybe they were the ones that slept through nursing school... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
