I just started taking Lexapro too. 10mg once daily. I hve taken it for about 2 1/2 weeks and then i ended up with strep so I didn't take it. But now I went back on it. The first two weeks though It made me nauseaus and I had a horrible headache. That was all going away until i went off of it and then went back on. So I am still adjusting to it.

I actually won't see my doctor until the end of Sept. So I am going to call and see if I can just try some more of the samples before I actually buy it. It does seem to be helping though.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I was put on 10mg Lexapro about 2 months ago for anti-anxiety. I don't know without a doubt that Lexapro is what's causing my problems, but I am looking into getting off of it as soon as possible. I've never felt so crazy in my life.

I took lexapro for awhile and it worked for some time. I now take something different. Remember that it can take several tries to get your medication and dosage correct. Try not to get discouraged, it can take some time but will be really worth it!

I'm taking it and am having success. I've been on it for about 7 months....I started for depression and it helps with anxiety as well. I did have a few weird side effects but they have either diminished or I'm used to them.

Intially I didn't want any meds but now I see they were needed. The depression is gone but I'm still having anxiety issues with my son's diagnosis. I can tell the the Lexapro is helping.

10mg is considered a low dose....That's what I've maintained.
