Hi everyone... a quick update.

Lauren is actually doing pretty well right now, as her pain level is at the lowest it's been since she was admitted last Thursday. The doctors decided today to schedule her pain meds instead of using them "as needed" so she doesn't keep jumping between 4/5 and 8/9 (though today she got down to a 3!). In addition, she's been on Prednisone, which started messing with her blood sugars as I expected but it's under control.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers... we're glad that we're not alone in this struggle.

Im glad Lauren is doing a little better.

Did she have the surgery? and if she did how did it go..
