I spoke with Kurt this afternoon. He and family and getting things organized at home for Lindsey's homecoming. Things continue to go very well for Lindsey. Last night she walked up and down the hallway <i>twice</i>. She's back on a regular diet. Her pain is well-controlled now with a PCA pump. Last night she even got a block of sleep between 1am and 5am. Kurt said this is good for her; that she previously wasn't getting more than an hour or two at a time. No word yet about the chest tubes coming out. Docs said initially 5-6 days, dependent on how much fluid is draining. Here's hoping that's soon!
