so tonight i was cleaning out my ears with q-tips. everytime i do that i start coughing, i don't know why. anyways, i started coughing and couldn't even stop long enough to catch my breath. i was standing in front of the bathroom mirror and the next thing i know, my lips were blue. it was scary and i was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? i'm starting to get sick also, but i'm trying to get myself better without going on abx right now.

When I was a child, my lips often turned blue from going swimming. I would get cold and have trouble getting warm -- outside in Georgia, in the middle of the summer. I didn't have a diagnosis at the time and I don't know the explanation.

According to other people I have had that a few times. I, personally, have never noticed it. So either I am color blind (dont know if blue falls into that catergory either <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> ) or if its just so gradual or slight that only people who dont look at my mug everyday would notice.
