I think that the longest I was on them was for 12 weeks, I had a pretty bad pneumonia as well...the Zosyn caused interstitial nephritis that time and I wound up with c-diff. It does take alot out of you...but once I turned the corner,I felt so much better. The docs don't like to do more than 3 weeks on me these days.
