. They should use pediatric cuffs on us petite girls. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

HA so much for that being my problem because they do use the pediatric ones on me!

I think some can be genetic also. My one sis (no cf) has always had very low blood pressure. Very low heart rate also. Has made it difficult for her to donate blood even tho she is healthy as a horse.

On the other hand our Mom is a walking time bomb with her pressure so ya never know I guess.

My dad's blood pressure runs low too. I read something (a study?) that noted that women who were carriers of a cf (DF508?) gene tended to have lower blood pressure. I wish I could remember where that was...I was expecting it to say "men" because of my dad.

I used to think I had high blood pressure because everytime I go to clinic its in the 138/80 range. Turns out, I'm just as nervous as all get out.

In the hospital when they measure me, I'm usually 99/50.

I have low blood pressure, too! When they take it first thing in the morning it's usually like 90s/50s but my normal is about 100-60 give or take a few points. If they use a ped cuff and I stand up, it's still not much over 105/65. Recently I've had to take a blood pressure medication for migraine prevention, and it's dropped even a few points. I have to be closely monitored. I'm not sure why I replied because I have no explanations or advice, I just wanted to be part of the club. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> lol
