Do you mean down from when you initially went in? Or just down from the spike you had when on IVs? I ALWAYS go down to around my baseline again (no matter how high they jump when ON IVs) within about 2-3 weeks. My docs have never been alarmed about it cause at least we "knocked back" the infection at the time, and a drop is expected. It just varies on the person and the "bug" how fast it will start reaking havoc again. Now, if you've dropped below your baseline or lower than you were when you needed to go on IVs, I would have a sit-down with your doc about this... Seems, like others have said, perhaps the buggies that were causing issues were not affected by the meds you were on.
Hope you get some answers and feel better soon! I know its all so frustrating cause we'd all like to feel AWESOME for MONTHS after IVs, but this just rarely happens (at least that's my experience with it all)...
